When we wake up in the morning every day, how many of us make an intention to be happy? Very few, I am sure. No sooner we are awake, we get hit by a slew of worries, anxieties, tasks to be done, fears, and irritations. And the whole day then takes a cue from this, and pans out in a particular way, depending on our dominant vibration. But if we could become aware as soon as we are awake, and we could actually put an intention to remain happy for the day, it would definitely change our point of vibration, and brings us better stuff all day long
When we sit in our car to undertake a long journey, one of the first things we do, is to set our destination on the GPS. The GPS then tells us the time required to reach our destination, which roads have traffic, which roads to avoid, which is the best route, the best stops to take on the way for food, and alternate routes. When we follow our GPS instructions properly, we find that we are able to negotiate the drive well, and reach safely and in time at our destination. Likewise, when we wake up in the morning, if we were to put an intention to be happy, that works exactly like GPS, That one intention set early in the morning, raises our vibrations enough to keep us out of bad roads and potholes, so to speak, We tend to attract the right people, the right circumstances, the right opportunities, and will be able to avoid a lot of negativity.
Even if we are faced with some trigger in the external world, the fact that we have put an intention to remain happy will often ensure that we don''t get into unnecessary fights and arguments, and that we are in the right place at the right time. Without an intention, we tend to be swayed by what is happening in our external world, and are prone to be thrown here and there, by the strong winds that are blowing. And if, every hour or so, we could pause, and remember our intention, that would amount to re-setting our GPS frequently on the way, so that the GPS can re-calculate and give us the best route, at any point in time.
A simple act of becoming aware, and putting an intention to be happy, can go a long way and might make the difference between a good day and a lousy one. And the internal GPS also sees to it that we don't get lost in the quagmire of our negative thoughts and our emotions, and is able to sound an alert when we are on the negative emotional spiral, and could help to pull us out of this downward path.
Starting today, make an intention to be happy, and see for yourself how it works for you. Eventually, if you realize, each and every one of us, at any given moment of time, is only trying our best, with our thoughts, actions and speech, to feel a little better, a little happier and peaceful. Setting an early morning intention daily, will be the blueprint, on which we can build our day, productively and happily.
